Barbara Rose Snelgrove Brantley

Barbara Rose Snelgrove Brantley, of Lexington, was born to the late James Otis Snelgrove Sr. and Jessie Rae Harmon Snelgrove on March 29,1932 in Delmar, SC and passed away August 9, 2019.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was known for her infectious laugh and strong, adventurous spirit.

Surviving are her son, Stuart Brantley (Amanda) of Springfield, MO, her granddaughter, Jessie Patterson (Clay) of Lexington, SC, grandson, Lucas Brantley of Springfield, MO, and granddaughter, Shelby Brantley of Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Joann Allen, and 8 of her 12 brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will greet friends following the service.
