Ann C Smyth

Graveside services for Ann Cato Smyth, 76, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery (Ridge Spring) with the Rev. Lisa Isenhower officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. 

Mrs. Smyth passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018.  Born in Augusta, GA she was a daughter of the late Rufus Benjamin and Elizabeth Kemp Cato.  She was a 1964 graduate of Limestone College obtaining a B.S. in Biology and retired from DHEC as a Microbiologist and Chemist.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church,  Rescue 5 (Monetta),  and was a life member of the Columbia Kennel Club.  

Surviving are her husband, William A. "Bill" Smyth, Jr. and a cousin Ron Horne, Jr.
