Alice Ruth Cox Ricard

Alice Ruth Cox Ricard, 68, of Lexington, wife of Stephen Joel Ricard, entered the church triumphant on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

Born in Leesville she was the daughter of the late Furman Edward Cox and the late Annie Lou Taylor Cox.  Mrs. Ricard was a life-long member of First Calvary Baptist Church. She worked with preschool children and the youth of the church.  She worked in the Lexington School District until 1995.  At that time she went to be a sales representative for Pampered Chef where she earned a position as Sales Director.

In addition to her husband, Stephen, Mrs. Ricard is survived by two sons, Tracy Ricard and his wife Donna of Greenville, and Jody Ricard and his wife Stephanie of Lexington; eight grandchildren, Hudson, Perry-Jayne, Madeline, Toby, Madison, Annabelle, Samuel, and Macee-Grace Ricard.  She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Hite and her husband Jimmy and Ann Long and her husband Larry both of Leesville, SC.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ricard was preceded in death by one son, Cory Jason Ricard.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 at First Calvary Baptist Church 2320 Cedar Grove Road Leesville, SC.

 A Funeral Service will follow immediately at 11:00 with Rev. Mendle Baker officiating.
