Alice T. Lee

A memorial service for Alice T. Lee, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Ms. Lee died Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Lewis C. Thornton and Rosa Lee Gregory Thornton. She was retired from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Surviving are son, Virgil B. Lee, Jr. (Karen) of Chapin; daughters, Melanie Muir of Lexington, and Pam Lee (Bill) of Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, L. Todd Lee and Bob S. Lee; brothers L.C. Thornton, Jr. and Thomas Gibbons.
