Keister "Kei" Sasser

Keister Rowe Sasser, known affectionately by many as “Kei”, passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 52. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Kei graduated from Spring Valley High School before attending Midlands Technical College. She resided in Blythewood, South Carolina, where she brought joy to those around her with her funny, witty, and loving nature. Kei worked as a Credit Analyst for Flagstar Mortgage Bank, but her true passions were music and movies.

Kei will be remembered with love by her husband, James Sasser; her mother, Mary Emmerling and stepfather, Steven; her sister, Karrie Melton; her beloved daughter, Anna Brigman; her stepsons, McCauley and Max Sasser; her mother-in-law, Ginger Sasser; and her sister-in-law, Lindie Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Rowe, and her father-in-law, Jimmy Sasser. Kei’s memory will be carried on in the stories shared, the meals cooked, and the songs sung by those who knew and loved her.

Services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Chapin Christian Community Church, 415 Lexington Avenue, Chapin, South Carolina.

Family and friends are invited to a drop-in at the home of Mrs. Mary Emmerling following the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
