It is with great sadness that the family of Betty K. Humphries announces her passing after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer, on March 25, 2024, at the age of 75.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Robin and her daughters, Jennie Humphries (Jo) and Julie H. Bradberry (Matt).
She was born in Columbia, S.C. to the late Willie A. Kimball and Lois W. Kimball.
Betty is survived by her twin brother, Robert “Bobby” A. Kimball (Barbara) of Cayce, S.C.; sisters, Kathryn Salzman (Bruce) of Concord, N.C. and Linda Gentry of Lexington, S.C.; and many other loving family members.
Betty is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Deborah Humphries of Cayce, S.C.
She will always be known for her kindness, caring nature, and sweet smile. She was most at peace in her flower garden or watching a good movie while knitting.
A celebration in her memory is yet to be determined. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Lexington Oncology Department, Lexington Brain and Spine Institute, staff of Lexington Medical Center, and staff of Amedisys Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org or American Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org
