William "Bill" Bowman

 Services for Bill Bowman, will be 12:00 pm Thursday June 1, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery with Full  Military Honors.

Major William (Bill) P. Bowman, Retired - June 16, 1938 - passed away, May 27, 2017 at home after a short illness.

Survived by his wife, Peggy Bowman; two sons and one daughter: William P. Bowman, Jr. (Barbara) of Augusta, GA, Sherry Wescom (Jude) of Lexington, SC, and Monty Clay Clark (Lynne) of Evans, GA; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Larry Bowman and Jimmy Bowman. Bill was a former member of Fleming Baptist Church of Augusta, is presently a member at Lake Murray Baptist Church, and loved fishing at Clarks Hill.
