Memorial services for William Wayne Zeigler, 77, will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
Mr. Zeigler, son of the late William Bell and Gladys Pearl Zeigler, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
He served in the Air Force as a SP canine handler and continued to serve by volunteering with the USO and had retired from Publix after many years.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Anne Zeigler, sons, William Robert Zeigler (Sharon), Joey Wayne Zeigler and Wayne James Zeigler; daughter, Mandy Anne Luckadoo (Teddy); grandchildren, Tiffany Ayers (Wayne), Cameron, Carson, and Emalyn; great grandchild, Caleb, step daughter, Christine Burchell; step son, Roy Burchell, Jr.; step grandchildren, Ricky, Patricia and Mikey; sister, Carol Roddy (Al); numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, James David Zeigler and brother and sister-in-law, James "Big Jim" and Jessie Zeigler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.
The family asks that those attending services dress casual.
