Ridge Spring-Services for Willie Edward Satcher, 81, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Phase II Building Fund 1186 Mt. Calvary Road Johnston, SC 29832.
Mr. Satcher passed away Friday July 28, 2017. Born in Edgefield County he was a son of the late Everette Edward and Claudie Kirkland Satcher. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Lutheran Men, Aiken & Saluda County Cattleman's Association.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Grace Hair Satcher, son, Mike Edward (Jeannia) Satcher, daughters, Elizabeth Satcher Cumbee, Janet Satcher (James Paul) Rushton, sister, Florence S. Merbach, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grand children.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Randy Cumbee.
