Stanley Joseph Riha, age 84 of Chapin, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, July 23 from stroke complications.
He was born January 14, 1933 in Woodside, NY. He joined the U.S. Army and trained as a communications officer for the Korean War. After an honorable discharge, he later studied at St. Joseph’s Seminary, in Washington, D.C.
He met and married Constance M. Randazzo of New York, N.Y. in April 1965. The couple moved to Stockholm, N.J. where Mr. Riha served on the board of The Lake Tamarack Association. He ran a successful insurance agency. He lived in Sussex County, N.J. until his retirement in 1995 when he moved to South Carolina.
Mr. Riha is survived by his sister, Joan. D. Marks of New York, New York, children Stephen (Linda) of Chapin, S.C., Anne Marie (Craig Savage) of Arlington, VA and Bill (Angela) of Clearwater, Fl. He is also survived by his five grand-children.
