Shirley L. Stover, 91, passed away March 22, 2018 in Lexington, South Carolina.
She was born February 18, 1927 in York, Maine to Arthur and Caroline Bracy, and had one younger brother Gerald who preceded her in death.
On June 24, 1950, she married the love of her life, George C. Stover, who had been her regular pen pal while he served overseas during World War 2. They had two children, Bruce and Carolyn.
Survivors include her son Bruce, and daughter Carolyn and husband John Collier of Lexington, South Carolina. Grandchildren include Nathan and wife Holly Collier of Ellijay, Georgia, and Tiffany and husband John Sanders of Linn Creek, Missouri. Great grandchildren include Macy and Quinn Collier of Ellijay, Georgia, and Ellie, Audrianna, and Owen Sanders of Linn Creek, Missouri.
