Memorial services for Shelba Wadetta Oswald McGee, 79, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 14, 2017 at Saluda Church of God. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. McGee passed away Friday September 8, 2017. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Agnes Roof Oswald. She was a member of the Saluda Church of God and was the former owner of McGee's Convenience Store and McGee's ABC Store. Survivors include a son, Russell McGee, grandchildren, Robert Stancel, Marvin McGee, Jr., and Kasey McGee, and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers, John and Mitchell Oswald, sisters, Sylvia Allison, Delane Reynolds, and Rachel Davis. She was predeceased by her husband, Garvin McGee, son, Marvin McGee, and a daughter, Charisse Thompson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy's Farm in Newberry. P.O.
