Funeral services for Sam Jones, Jr., of West Columbia will be held 4pm Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia in The Chapel of Hope.
Mr. Jones passed away December 10, 2017. Born in Georgia he was the son of the late Sam, Sr. and Vera Jones. he was a member of Gantt Street Baptist Church in Cayce, SC. A world War II veteran, and retired from the trucking industry.
He is survived by a daughter Cindy and a granddaughter Maria. A sister Kathleen McCoy of Lawrenceville, Georgia and a brother Randy (Sandra) of St. Augustine, Florida.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Musetta Jones, a daughter Lynn Jones, and a sister Jeanette Johnston.
