Paul C Howard

Paul C. Howard, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born in  Columbia, SC on March 5, 1937, he was a son of the late Julian Brice Howard and Myrtle Lee Taylor Howard.

A retired diesel mechanic with Carolina International, Mr. Howard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 and a half years Catherine Lorick Howard; children Robert Dwane Howard (Deborah Mayse), Joseph Glenn Howard; grandchildren Jessica Cureton (Allen), Chelsea Howard; great grandchildren Liam Bradley Cureton, Lennon Brice Cureton; sister-in-law Beverly Howard (wife of the late Troy Howard); brother-in-law Harold Lorick (Victoria); along with nieces; nephews; and numerous special friends.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Bernice Day (Carroll), Lillian Craft (Tommy); brother Bill Howard, sisters-in-law, Pam and  Gladys Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Pisgah Lutheran Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pisgah Lutheran Church or Tri-County Hospice or Breathing-For-Burrito.org.
