Michael "Mike" Murray

Michael "Mike" Murray, 58, originally from North Wildwood, NJ, currently residing in Chapin, SC lost his battle with cancer on March 26, 2017. He passed comfortably surrounded by his loved ones. Mike was employed by SimplexGrinnell for 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle and donating to a variety of causes especially those involving the Veterans. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Michele, his devoted children, Melissa Franchville and her husband Kevin, Michael Murray, Jr., Zachary Murray as well as the delights of his life his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Franchville, his siblings Joseph (Carmen) and Theresa Murray and many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Murray, as well as sister, Patricia Vetere (Murray) and brother, Charles Murray, Jr. In keeping with Mike's wishes, no public services will be held. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's name to Dorn VA Medical Center-VAVS 6439 Garners Ferry Rd. Columbia, SC 29209.
