Mary S. Holley 94, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born September 10, 1923 in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late William Kelse and Mary Thelma Strickland.
Ms. Holley was an employee at DuPont, where she retired after 23 years of service. An active member at Lexington Baptist Church, she participated in many activities, and especially loved her Sunday school class.
She is survived by son Vic Holley and his wife Beth, their children Ryan Holley and his fiancée Annie, and daughter Anna Holley; son Doug Holley and his wife Donna; their children Doug Jr. Holley and his wife Jen, and their daughter Tori, Daniel Holley and his fiancée Monica; Claire Ziegler and her husband Chris and their daughter Adeline, Mary Louise DeCrescenzio and her husband Vincent and their daughter Mia; adopted daughter Linda Kelly; two brothers; a sister; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Holley, three brothers, and two sisters.
A visitation for Ms. Holley will be held from 4 to 6 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lexington Baptist Church, 308 E. Main St., Lexington, SC, 29072 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
