Margie Diane Dominick

Margie "Diane" Clifton Dominick, 71, of Gaston, SC peacefully passed away on December 7, 2017.  Diane was born August 30, 1946 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Jay Clifton and the late Margie Nolker.  Diane was proceeded in death by her mother and her brother, Johnny Clifton.  She is survived by her father, Jay Clifton of Tennessee, brother Jimmy Clifton (Jamie) of Tennessee, sister Rachel Clifton of Chapin, niece, Denise Johnson and great-nieces, Stephanie and Layla Johnson, all of Chapin.  Diane also leaves behind her best friend of more than sixty years, Becki Navarre, her "chosen" daughter, Christi Jeffcoat, and her fur babies, Susie and Molly.
Diane worked in the service industry for many years and had the honor of being retired in the years leading up to her passing.  Diane was an incredible person and loved with all of her heart and soul.  Diane will be missed by all that knew her.  Her gracious spirit, hilarious personality, and her giving heart will live on within each of us forever.  Those that were lucky enough to know her, loved her.
Services for Diane will be held at Barr-Price Funeral Home, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina 29071 on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pets,  Inc in West Columbia, South Carolina, www.petsinc.org, or to a charity of your choice.  

We would like to extend our appreciation to the staff of Lexington Oncology and Lexington Medical Center for the care and compassion for Diane over the course of her illness.
