Lawrence Neal Pruter Jr

Leesville-Services for Lawrence Neal Pruter, Jr., 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Leesville UMC with the Rev. Sandra King and Rev. Emily Edenfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SCOA Cares Foundation 166 Stoneridge Drive Columbia SC 29210. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

  Mr. Pruter passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born in Nashville, TN he was a son of Lawrence Neal and Dorothy Jarrett Pruter. He was  a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Pruter was employed at CVS Pharmacy for 35 years, loved baseball, and was an avid baseball card collector.  He was a giver, always taking care of the people in the community and at work.

  Surviving are his wife, Ann Price Pruter; daughter, Ashley (Joshua) Jackson; his parents; brothers, Mike Pruter, Patrick (Sunday) Pruter, and Glenn (Chantelle) Pruter; 3 grandchildren; Price, Owen, and Carolyn Jackson; a niece, Leah Pruter; and  nephews, Luke Pruter and Michael (Emily) Pruter.
