Gaston-Memorial service for Larry Harmon McCarty, 75, will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Don Bell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, United Way or Shriners Hospital.
Mr. McCarty passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017. Born in Batesburg, SC, he was the son of the late Harmon L. and Oneida Holley McCarty. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. McCarty was a member of Masonic Lodge # 21 and was employed with IGA and Winn Dixie for over 40 years as a Market Manager.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Perkins McCarty, children, Kimberly, Eric Brian, Lauren, and Harold, sisters, Christine Oswalt and Sharon Burkett, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
