Joseph Garrison Brooks, 60, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer. A visitation will be held 12 noon - 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Born in Prosperity, he was the son of Georgia Howell Brooks and the late William Thomas Brooks.

He is survived by his mother, son, Ryan Brooks (Lauren), granddaughter, Ruth Brooks, companion, Earlene Redmon, and his beloved dog (Mans Best Friend), Bear.
