Having known Poppa for over 7 years, we always enjoyed seeing him and talking to him. He was such a gentle spirit and though quiet, very smart and a joy to talk too. He is so loved by his family and friends and that love will continue as we remember him in the days, months and years to come. Our hearts go out to Lisa, Nanny, Hannah, Ben, Noah and the entire family! We are heartbroken too but know he is in glory and we will see him again one day! I'm sure he already has his favorite chair in his new mansion! Love and Prayers.

My deepest condolences to the Turner family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 85 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy

At 2 Corinthians 1:4,5 reminds us that the God of all comfort is there for us during all of our trials, the strength provided enables us to comfort others with God's promises of the future at Revelation 21:3,4
