Jean V Huffstetler

Graveside services for Jean V. Huffstetler, 84, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 16, 2018 at Beaufort National Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 140 Stoneridge Drive Suite 210 Columbia, SC  29210.

  Mrs. Huffstetler passed away Monday January 8, 2018.  Born in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Irene Justice and Broughton U. Hames, Sr.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beaufort and was a homemaker.

  Survivors include sons, Donald L Huffstetler (Susan), Wayne S. Huffstetler (Rita) and George A. Huffstetler, Jr., (Caryl), brother, John T. Hames, grandchildren, Nathan Huffstetler (Andrea), Judith Muskrat, Hannah Crow (Andrew), Laura Crolley (Josh), Lee Huffstetler and Victoria Ochoa (John), also 9 great-grandchildren.

  She was predeceased by her husband, TSG George A. Huffstetler, Sr., daughter, Janet D. Huffstetler, brothers, Nevils Hames and Broughton U. Hames, Jr.
