Gaston-Funeral services for James Cleveland "Jimmy" Stukes, 76, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel with burial to follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stukes passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was born February 11, 1941 in Columbia to the late Jonah and Zadie Spires Stukes and was owner and operator of Jimmy C. Stukes Hardwood Flooring. He was an Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred "Jeannie" Stokes Stukes; sons, Jimmy, Jamie and Jodie Stukes; daughter, Brianna Early; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Leonard "Bubba" Stukes, Spencer Stukes and Jonah "Pap" Stukes, Jr.; sister, Joan "Sister" Ellison.
