Jack Travis Farrar

Jack Travis Farrar passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Born March 19, 1928 in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late Marie Travis and Alfred Priestley Farrar. He graduate from Athens High School,  the University of Georgia and served in the US Army. He spent his professional years in sales.

Surviving are his  daughters, Jeanie Ferrer of West Columbia, SC, Beth Farrar of Nashville, TN, and son, Al Farrar (Cissy) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Jenny Traverse, Tad Cooper, Jeremy Farrar and Cameron Farrar and three great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Farrar.  A memorial service will be held at a later date
