Iva C Metze

Columbia-Funeral services for Ms. Iva C. Metze, 89, will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. Mrs. Iva passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. Born August 11, 1928 in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel David and Birdie Oswalt Clamp.

Mrs. Iva was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, LMC Foundation, 2820 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169 or Hospice Care of SC, 3955 Southeastern Way, Suite 1, West Columbia, SC 29169.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Metze, brothers, David Clamp (Miriam), Heyward Clamp (Brenda) and Larry Clamp, sisters, Louise Weed (Henry), Edith Deese and Frances Campbell and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Metze was predeceased by her husband, Leonard D. Metze, brother, Harold Clamp, sister, Lois Kaminer, brother-in-laws, Robert Deese and Colbert Campbell.
