Memorial Services for Henry Henriksen, 85, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at The Episcopal Church of St. Simon and St. Jude of Irmo. The family will greet friends following the service.
Henry passed away October 18, 2017. Born in Honningsvaag, Norway, he was the son of the late Martin Jentoff and Solveig Zakariassen Henriksen. Henry graduated with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Harriott-Watts University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He immigrated to the United States from Norway in 1963. He belonged to I.E.E.E., the Exhausted Roosters, the Civitans, and was a member of The Episcopal Church of St. Simon and St. Jude of Irmo.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Henriksen of West Columbia, daughter, Solveig Henriksen of Anderson, son, Gregory Henriksen (Tiffany) of Concord, NC, sister, Åse Alm (Erik) of Oslo, Norway, and grandchildren, Samuel Henriksen and Lily Cromer.
