Evelyn Summer, 93, died May 11, 2017, at her residence, Generations of Batesburg-Leesville. Born in Pelion, she was a daughter of the late Maydell and Gary Rister and was a lifelong resident of SC.
Surviving is a son, Robert Rister, his wife Debbie Pugh-Rister, three grandchildren, and five great-grand-children. The family remembers her passion for her pets, the glory of her gardening, and the other precious moments she spent with them. These treasures are echoed in our memories.
