Graveside services for Evelyn Ricard Cockrell, 95, will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Ridge Crest Memorial Park with the Rev. Justin Eshleman officiating. The family will receive family and friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Generations (Building #2) 110 Generations Blvd., B-L, SC 29006. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Cockrell passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. Born in Leesville, she was a daughter of the late Cornealious "Neal" R. and Mattie Kyzer Ricard. She retired from Regal with 30 years of service and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher, Choir Member and WMU.
Surviving are her sons, Wayne Cockrell (Gail Spradley) and Danny Cockrell (Shannon); brother, Dewey Ricard; sisters, Margie Barnes and Sonia Cockrell; grandchild, Kim Mathis; and great-grandchildren, Gabe and Cole Mathis. She was predeceased by her husband, Coleman L. Cockrell.
