Memorial services for Danny C. Silvey, 61, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Mr. Silvey passed away September 29, 2017.
Danny was born February 24, 1956 in Lee Summit, Missouri and was the son of Virgil and Imogene Silvey. He was a 1974 graduate of Lee Summit High School, served in the US Navy from 1974 until 1985 and worked at the Charleston Naval Ship yard until 1995, then moving to Fort Steward, GA as a BT and finally Ft. Jackson as an HVAC Public Works leader. Danny loved tinkering with clocks, cars, motorcycles and anything mechanical.
Surviving are his wife and passion, Puril S. Silvey; sisters, Patricia Fjoser, Teresa DeVasher and Julie Nelson; brothers, Phillip, John and Tim Silvey, all of Missouri and his three dogs, Sasha, Milo, and Otis and his cat, Momo.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
