Bobby L. Headden

West Columbia-Funeral Service for Bobby Lee Headden, 83, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Self officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 801 South Maple Street, Columbia, SC 29205.

Mr. Headden passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. Born in Charleston, he was the son of the late Sheppard L. and Eula Benton Headden.

Mr. Headden worked as a truck driver for many years and also was a member of the North and South Carolina's Boxing Hall of Fame.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Gardner Headden; son, Ricky Headden; daughters, Kandice Hanley and Nikki Headden; brother, Erane Headden; sister, Toni Denaux, and 4 grandchildren.

 He was predeceased by a son, Timmy Headden.
