Bettie Lou James

Pelion – Services for Bettie Lou James will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.  Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.  Ms. James was a member of Joel Baptist Church

Ms. James passed away April 7, 2018 at her home at the age of 83. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frankie Mae Ellison.

Ms. James is survived by her son, Tom Hollis, Jr. (Patsy); daughters, Brenda Angel, Karen Sue Bonner (James) and Virginia Tran Overturf (Chuck); brothers, Lucky and Billy Ellison; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her son, Tony Eugene Hollis.
