Monetta-Memorial service for Annie Lou Cromer, 84, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13 at Oak Grove Baptist Church (Aiken Co.) with the Rev. Bill Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1721 Old 96 Indian Trail, Batesburg SC 29006. Mrs. Cromer passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. Born in Aiken County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Archie and Lida Bell Sawyer Hallman. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Women’s Auxillary of American Legion #133, and the Ridge Garden Club. She was an avid bridge player of several clubs. She enjoyed cooking, especially favorite foods for her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. Surviving are sons, Philip (Teresa) Cromer and Mark Cromer; daughters Sharon (Chuck) Kneece and Debra (Jerry) Fowler; sister, Gladys Ridgell; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thurmond L. Cromer; brothers Gerald Hallman and C.A. Hallman, Jr. (Bill); sisters Mary Lee Collum, Necola Shumpert, Edith Boatwright and Lois Fulmer.
